RULES
Audition Tryouts
- Tryouts this year will consist of a 2 minute video of your performance, DUE by Tuesday, February 16th at 11:59PM
- Applications will be online on February 1st, 2010 at http://ut-isa.org
- Your performance video should not be an older performance, but must consist of a current act or the same act you will be performing at the actual Talent Show
- Videos can either be submitted online at Youtube, or for privacy issues, can be submitted in person on a CD or flash drive to any ISA Officer
- The UT ISA Executive Board will be deciding on the final acts of the show to maintain diversity and choose the best possible acts for the show. 3 qualified judges will be judging the Talent Show on April 3rd
- Judging will be completed within one week, and groups will be notified by Tuesday, February 23rd
Entrance Fees
- Entrance Fees will only be charged if your group makes it to the final show. There is no application fee.
- Entrance Fees per group will consist of the lower of the two following choices
- A $100 Flat Fee
- 100% ISA Membership
- The Deadline for Payment of Entrance Fees will not be until 1 week prior to the event (Saturday, March 27th), but may be paid any time before then
Categories
- A Miscellaneous/Music Category
- A Dance Category
Prize Money
There will be a Grand Prize $1000 1st Place Winner (which may be from either of the two categories) and a $500 Award given to the winning performance from the other category
Other Info
- The Show will consist of 10 total acts
- Performances should last up to 7 minutes
- There will be no priority for song choices given to any groups who inform us of their playlist early. Duplicates of songs can be performed at the Show at your own discretion
- No one person may perform in more than 2 acts
