UT ISA’s annual talent show, “Taal,” strives to promote South Asian involvement throughout the UT campus and the Austin Community. This is the biggest South Asian talent show in Austin and at UT. Besides being competitive, this event also unveils to our audience a glimpse of India’s rich heritage and culture. We stage a fair and competitive event for the South Asian community on the University of Texas at Austin’s campus incorporating both dance performances and music performances. We provide students an opportunity to show off their skills and we provide our audience a truly Indian experience.

The target audience for ISA’s talent show will be students and faculty at the University of Texas at Austin, South Asian fraternities and sororities, and other student organizations. The Talent show will also be publicized throughout Austin to target Indian families, parents, and schools. The anticipated size for the program is approximately 1,200 people, the seating capacity for Hogg Memorial Auditorium.
