Thank you for your support last year, we truly appreciate it and we hope you have enjoyed our events as much as we have. In order to continue our success, we need an even stronger board to help carry ISA through to this year.

Below are positions available for the upcoming year along with their general duties followed by the application form. All persons who have submitted an application will receive an interview conducted by the ISA executive board on Friday, May 7th at the Texas Union. A specific interview time as well as other details will be emailed out upon receiving each application.

Applications will close on Wednesday, May 5th at 11:59 PM. Thank you for your continuing interest in ISA and we hope to receive your application soon.

Description of Positions Available

+ Philanthropy Chair

# Organize service-oriented events
# Encourage students to volunteer and get involved in the community
# Maintain communication with service-based organizations and non-profit entities
# Assist with the functions of VP External and the general board

+ Public Relations Chair

# Helps promote events to on campus organizations
# Acts as a liaison between ISA and other companies/corporations/businesses around Austin
# Serves as a representative of ISA for the Asian American Leadership Council
# Assist with the functions of VP External and the general board

+ Fundraising Coordinators

# Reach out to potential departments, companies, and other influential groups willing to sponsor ISA
# Appropriately fill out on campus fundraising applications and maintain a record of all funds
# Assist with the functions of VP Finance and the general board

+ Advertising Director

# Organize and execute a publicity campaign for every event
# Obtain appropriate press coverage for every event
# Assist with the functions of VP Communications and the general board

+ Membership Director

# Organize and maintain a database of all members and member-related information
# Influence students to become more involved through active committees
# Assist with the functions of VP Internal and the general board

+ Administrative Director

# Take detailed minutes at each officer board meeting and keep a list of duties for each officer
# Maintain an archive of all documents, pictures, and other ISA-related information
# Assist with the functions of VP Internal and the general board

+ Social Director (preferably 21+)

# Organize social-oriented events
# Maintain good relationships with social organizations on campus
# Encourage members to participate in ISA intramural sports
# Assist with the functions of VP External and general board

Note: Positions awarded to applicants may vary from preferred choices and are at the discretion of the ISA executive board. More than one applicant may be given the same position as the total number of accepted applicants may also vary. Please fill out this form to the best of your ability.
