The Indian Students Association (ISA) aims to be an umbrella organization that truly connects all South Asian organizations on campus. This year, ISA is hosting its first awards ceremony to recognize South Asian organizations at The University of Texas at Austin.
We believe the student organizations should be recognized for their efforts with prestige, honor and prize money to further their causes in a truly celebratory fashion.
Each organization has the opportunity to apply for one of the following categories:
- Best Service – $500
- Best Cultural – $500
- Best Social – $500
- Best Performing Arts – $500
- Most Outstanding South Asian Organization Award – $500 more (The winner of each category will become a nominee for for the Most Outstanding South Asian Organization Award, and get a chance to win $500 more)
Join us on Friday, November 18th, 2011 for an evening of glamour and elegance while enjoying a view of the Austin skyline from the 18th floor of The Hilton Garden Inn – Downtown Austin. The night will include Indian cuisine, dancing, unlimited photo booth pictures, and the opportunity to indulge in a mock casino for a chance to win prizes. Our main goal for the evening is to give back to the South Asian organizations on campus that have put in tremendous amounts of effort to succeed in the goals of their organization.
